The Vampair Diaries have been a musical sensation on YouTube for over a decade, with over 59M views. Now, creator Daria Cohen is taking the series to the next level with the production of a pilot – the first step toward developing a full animated television series based on the original concept.

The project is being produced by The Hive Studio.

Through a highly successful crowdfunding campaign — selected by Kickstarter as a “Project We Love” — we raised more than $260,000 to bring the pilot episode to life.

The pilot will feature the talents of goth icon Aurelio Voltaire, singer Lauren Jennings, and composer Paul Shapera.
